And I think jealousy was an awesome choice with Shere-Khan, who's wickedness never appeared to stem from courage or real drive, but cowardice and attention--and what an insightful quote for jealousy! It is so damaging!

yes despite my huuuuuuge modesty (yeah....) i must admitt that this one puzzle made a good work. jealousy fits just too well! it was almost sad how shere-khan has tried almost everything for animals acknowledged him. not that it justified him even a bit - yet... envy/jealousy is maybe not worst, but surely one of most painful defects of soul. thank you for your comments. damaging? nice said. thank you.
